เกียส์

Gears หรือชื่อเดิม Google Gears[1] เป็นซอฟต์แวร์ที่กูเกิลเผยแพร่ ช่วยให้เว็บแอปพลิเคชันทำงานได้มากขึ้นได้ด้วยการเพิ่มความสามารถใหม่ให้แก่เว็บเบราว์เซอร์[2] เผยแพร่ภายใต้สัญญาอนุญาตบีเอสดี[3] เกียส์เป็นซอฟต์แวร์เสรีเมื่อวันที่ 22 พฤศจิกายน ค.ศ. 2011 กูเกิลประกาศว่า ในวันที่ 1 ธันวาคม ปีเดียวกัน จะย้ายเกียส์ออกจากจีเมลและกูเกิลปฏิทิน[4] มีการย้ายเกียส์ออกจากกูเกิลโครมเมื่อวันที่ 7 มิถุนายน ค.ศ. 2011[5]
